VI , 11 Remarks :-The Ms. is in good condition. This Ms. is dated
Samvat 19[1]03 or Saka 1868 which might be corrected Samvat 1903 or Saka 1768 corresponding to 1846 A. D.-the time of King Sivāji, the last Mabratha ruler of Tanjore (1833-55 A. D.) Regarding this Ms. Dr. Burnell observes on page 10 in his Catalogue, as follows:--"This work appears to exist in two distinct recensions; the Northern called Pappa. sūtra and the Soathern called Phullasūtra. The difference also extends to the commentary by Ajātasatrn. This commentary begins with the 56th section of the text in the Ms. (No. 1966). Cf. Weber's "Ueber das Sapta, catakam des Hāla," P. 259 note."
It is to be conjectured from the last colophon in tbis Ms. that this author might have divided the whole of Phullasutra into two parts, the former consisting of the first four Prapãthakab(?) and the latter, the last six Pråpāthakas. A portion of this commentary is now printed together with the text in Bepares.
