A DESCRIPTIVE OATALOGUE OF
is a very good commentary on the Pratihara Sutra of Åhisrenya which consists of a division into four Patalas. This Pratihāra Sūtra is an elaboration of and a supplement to, the Jaimini's Pratihāra Sūtra. (See the introductory remarks in the beginning). This Pratihāra Sūtra, therefore, belongs to the Jaiminiya Sakha. The other work contained herein is Kalpabrāhmana (?) Prayoga Vrtti. This Pratihāra Vrtti is not, however, noticed by Dr. Burnell under this Ms. On the side margin of the first leaf of this Ms. is given 'प्रतिहारभाष्यं, वैनतेयम्' || Whether Vainateya is the author of this commentary is yet to be known.

जितं भगवता येन हरिणा लोकधारिणा । अजेन विश्वरूपेण निर्गुणेन गुणात्मना ॥ १ ॥
