A BEACRETIVE CATALOGUB OF विरुध्यते।
नियोजनं पशोः कार्य दक्षिणोत्तरयोमवेत् ॥ परिध्योर्मध्यमेनैव प्रयोगोऽत्र विरुध्यते । योजनविवधेति(१) नियुञ्जीतेति शब्दिताः ॥ वैश्वदेव्या स्थाने प्रथमं पृष्ख्याहः स्यात् ।
पृष्ठकार्यमहस्स्थाने वैश्वदेव्या विधीयते ॥ Colophon : (Leaf No. 152 ) इति षङ्गुरुशिष्यविरचितायामाश्वलायनसूत्रवृत्तावभ्युदयप्रदायामष्टमोऽध्यायः ॥
हरिः ॐ हरिः ॐ॥ Subject: Asvalāyanaśrantasūtravștti, otherwise known as
Abhyudayaprads. 1-9 Adhyayas. Remarks :- The Ms. is in a decaying condition. The first five
leaves of this Ms. are almost broken away. On the sixth leaf this Ms. abruptly begins with the commentary on the 19th Sūtra of the first Khanda of the first Adhyāya. It breaks off in the commentary on the fifth sūtra of the second Khanda of the ninth Adhyāya.
About the author of this work Dr. Bornell observes that "Şadgurusişya (is). generally identified in South India with a Sankarācārya. Prof. Weber shows that he must have lived about 12th century". If Weber's view is correct, the identity of this commentator with the famous Sadgurusiqya, the commentator on Rg.vedasaryanukramani, seems to be plausible. While giving the contents of this work chapter by chapter, Dr. Burnen adds :- " (In this work). I have noted quotations fromikpestamba and faunaka only. The opinion of 'others'
