The title page continues in pictures the story narrated in No. 106. Gajasura swallows the Lord Paramasiva. Vienu, Brahma, Indra and Agni pray for the Lord's reappearance whereupon Paramasiva emerges out tearing open the stomach of Gajasura. The whole incident is believed to have taken place at Cyutapura or modern Valuvür near Mayavaram. In Cyutapura, the sacred tank is known as Hastipuskariņī and the Lord is worshipped as Kṛttivaseśvara. For more detailed information, please see Cyutapuramahātmya available in this Library.
