This work lays down the method of finding out the exact position of each of the nine planets on a specified day. Beginning:
खरसा (६०) ऋषिनेत्र (I): (२७) गतवत्सरसंयुताः । नन्दाभ्रभूमि (१०९) भिर्युक्ता भवेयुः शकवत्सराः ॥ धूसीकालयुतं शाकं कल्यब्दमिति कथ्यते । चरभयरहितं शकस्य वर्ष शककुलशङ्कशताण्डसंप्रवृद्धम् । सह यदि गणयेत्तदादि शुक्रात ननु मृगवानभयेन राजचापैः ॥ कल्याद्यहर्गणैर्योज्यं मासवाक्यं ततः क्रमात् ।
इच्छादिनेन संयुक्तः शुक्रताराद्यहर्गण. ॥ Lind: रविस्फुटम्-~
गतमासं गतदिनं स्थाप्य संक्रान्तिशेषकम् । निशासंक्रमणे युझ्यादिवासंक्रमणे त्यजेत् ।। तत्तु योग्यादिवाक्योनं सूर्यस्फुटमितीरितम् । चन्द्र स्थाप्य रविं त्यक्त्वा योजयित्वा च षष्टिघाम ।। शशाङ्कस्य गतौ सूर्यगतिं त्यक्त्वा प्रयुज्य च । एताभ्यां विहती पूर्वी तिथियोगौ भविष्यतः ॥
