कुजस्य सप्त वर्षाणि भृगोष्षोडश वत्सराः । बुधस्य नव वर्षाणि शीतरश्मेस्त्रिसप्तकम् ॥ आदित्ये पञ्चकं विद्यात् दश चैव गुरोरपि । सौरेश्चत्वारि वर्षाणि कालचक्रे विधीयते ॥ कालचक्र प्रवक्ष्यामि संक्षिप्तं शणु तत्वतः । शुभाशुभं मनुष्याणां हितभव्यसुनिश्चितम् ॥ लमे वा चन्द्रलमे वा प्रश्नलने तथैव च ।
