श्रीशारदाविष्णुविनायकं च ब्रह्माणमीशं बृहसुन्दरं च । नत्वान्ध्रमाषां प्रकरोति धेका दैवज्ञतानो जयचर्यमाख्यम् (१) ॥ मत्स्यान्वयस्समधूत (समुद्भूत)स्सिहाख्यः सिंहविक्रमः । तस्य देशपिता धेका जयचर्याश्च संज्ञके (१) ॥

On the divination of certain events by knowing the combination of the letters obtained by casting three times a piece of Tulasī stick which is engraved in its four sides with the four syllables comprising the word Nārāyaṇa. The work is said to have been based on the teachings of Jõānadēva. Beginning:
अथातः संप्रवक्ष्यामि प्रश्नानां शकुनावलिम् । ज्ञानदेवेन कथिता या स्वयं भक्तसंनिधौ ॥ तुलसीकाष्ठजं पादचतुष्कोणेषु चिह्नितम् । नारायणेति वर्णैश्च कृत्वा भूमौ विनिक्षिपेत् ॥ 691
