Explains what will be the fortune of a person under certain astrological circumstances. Drekkāua is the name given to the period of time equal to the third part of a Lagna.
Beginning:
भावान्तरगतः खेटः परभागे फलं तथा ।
अत्यन्तं घटिका यावत् न फलं च विवाहिता ॥

अम्बरगताः शुभग्रहाः युगैर्दृष्टाः विवाहदास्सद्यः । लभे शुभग्रहा स्यात् योगे महति भवेत् दृष्टिः ॥

मूर्ती वा शोभनाः खेटाः जामित्रे वा स्थिता यदि । क्रूरैरपि न दृष्टाश्चेत् क्रूरास्तु विनिहन्ति च ॥

एवं द्वादश भावेषु द्रेकाणफलमादिशेत् । बुधोदये तदंशे वा भावेष्वन्येषु निश ( श्वय) म् || प्रश्नकार्ये क्रूरवर्जे लग्नं यद्यधिकं भवेत् । अशुभ फलमाख्येयं ग्रहे दीक्षां विना तथा ॥
इति काफलम् ॥
