स्वर्क्षे वा युग्मराशौ वा मित्र (भे) वापि जीवकः । केन्द्रस्थः शुभसन्दृष्टः लग्ननाथशुभेक्षितः || लग्नाधिपः केन्द्रसंस्थः जीवकः शुभवीक्षितः । शुभ शोभनैर्युक्तमष्टमस्थोऽपि जीवकः ॥

इति मारकाध्यायो द्वितीयः ।
पोषकाध्यायः
भार्याधीशः शोभनश्चेत् सुखेशो वा तथाविधः । परिवृत्य स्वभागस्थः पोषको भवतो हितौ ॥
उच्चांश पूर्णचन्द्रौ लग्नस्थौ वा लाभगौ स्थानगौ वा ।
धर्मस्थाने सूर्यपुत्र बलाढ्ये जातो योगी स्याद्युगान्तं स जीवेत् ॥ एकांशभाजी गुरुमन्दजीवौ धर्मस्थितौ वा यदि कर्मसंस्थौ । अर्कोदये सौम्यनिरीक्ष्यमाणी मानी भवेदत्र भवश्विरायुः ॥
