On the characteristics of a proper mensongor to be sent to a physician and on certain inferences that may be drawn by him regarding the would-be state of health of the patient by observing the bodily movements, eto., of the messenger. Beginning :
पृच्छेदार्तिषु संयुक्तो भुक्तिमष्टविवर्जिते । एकादिशून्यहस्ते वा अज्ञानं तस्य तां व्रजा(जे)त् ।। पाषण्डाश्रमवर्णानां सवर्ण कर्मसिद्धये । तयोरविपरीतास्तु दूतकर्म विवर्जयेत् ॥ दीनं भीतं दृढध्वस्तं रूक्षकाष्ठादिभेदिनम् ।
नानुगच्छेद्भिषक् दूतमाह्वयन्तं च दूरतः ॥ End:
वज्रदंष्ट्रधरारौद्रक्षुरतूणीधनुर्धरा । मर्स्यन्ति पार्श्वचरा दष्टोष्ठो रक्तलोचनः ॥ व्याधयो विविधा ज्ञेया रूपायुधविभूषणैः । व्याधितस्याकृतीरस्मात्तव्याधीरपि निर्देशेत् ॥
