तिर्यङ्मात्रप्रवणनयनोपान्तदृश्यत्वलोभादन्योन्याधोवयवघटितं स्वाङ्गमाधायि याभ्याम् । तौ सद्रूपावपि जनकतां जन्यमाने भजन्ती देवावाद्यौ जगति जयतः प्रेमसीमायमानौ ॥ जयति यथा जातानां वाग्जातसुजातपारिजाश्रीः । श्रीलक्ष्मीधरविबुधावतंसचरणाजरेणुकणः ॥ सारासारविचारैकपरायणहृदां सदा ।।
चमत्कारप्रकाशाय क्रियते रसचन्द्रिका ॥ इह खलु नायकसमवेतायां रतौ नायिका विषयः, नायिकासमवेतायां च नायक इति विषयस्य रतावसाधारणं कारणत्वमिति तो निरूप्यते । तत्र नियामकाभावात् ग्रन्थभेदेन पौर्वोपर्यानियमदर्शनेऽपि इच्छाया एव नियामकत्वादिह बहुवक्तव्यात् प्रथमं नायिका निरूप्यते -सा-त्रिविधा--स्वीया, परकीया, सामान्या चेति ।
