This work describes the characteristics of a Nataka or drama and its different parts, and is the same as that described under No. 3160 of Rájöndra Lala Mitra's catalogue, Vol. IX, according to which the author is Rūpagāsvāmiu. The author states that in writiog this work he consulted the Bharataśāstra and the Rasagudhākara, and rejected the treatment contained in the Sahityadarpaņa as being opposed to Bharata's views. Beginning :
