Fol. 69a contains a note in C. P. Brown's handwriting: "This copy of the Uttarakādambari was made from a manuscript discovered at Masulipatam. I am informed that there is also a copy of this at Cholangipuram (in Chittoor) in the possession of Traye Murti Candalla Singara Chari; likewise at Maddagiri (near Seringapatam in the house of Maddagiri Rama Sastri and likewise of " Nelavangalam Tippa Sastri in the same village. But I do not altogether credit this information which was only given me after I had gained the book by a Brahmin who for a year before had known my anxiety to get the book". Same work as the above.
