Seven stanzas in the Aryā metre in praise of the Sun-god, the due repetition of which is held to be cflicacious in realising one's desires and in overcoming one's enemies. Beginning :
उदयाचलतिलकाय प्रणतोऽस्मि विवस्वते आहेशाय । अम्बरचूडामणये दिग्वनिताकनककर्णपूराय || जयति जनानन्दकरः करनिकरनिरस्ततिमिरसंघातः ।
लोकालोकालोकः कमलारुणकान्तिमण्डलः सूर्यः ॥ End:
इति गीताः साम्बपुरः सप्तार्या गगनदेशतः पतिताः । विलुठन्ति यस्य कण्ठे तस्य रविस्सपदि सन्तुष्टः ॥
आर्याभिः सप्तभिः सप्त वारान् यो जपयिष्यति । त्रिकालमेककालं वा भानुवारे विशेषतः ॥ सर्वान् कामानवामोति सर्वशत्रून् जयिष्यति ।
सर्वरोगविनिर्मुक्तः सूर्यलोके महीयते ।। Colophon :
