श्रीकृष्ण गोकुलाधीश नन्दगोपतनूद्धव ।
यशोदागर्भसंभूत मयि दीने कृपां कुरु ॥ १ ॥ End:
स्वाचार्यहृदयस्थायिलीलाशतयुत प्रभो।
सर्वथा शरणं याते मयि दीने कृपां कुरु ॥ ८ ॥ Colophon:
इति श्रीहरिदासोक्तं दैन्याष्टकं संपूर्णम् ।।

Twelve stanzas in praise of Govinda and emphasising the need for devoting oneself to the worship of Govinda or Vişņu. There are eleven more stanzas added at the end in the same strain. The work is attributed to the author ship of Sankarācārya. Beginning:
भज गोविन्दं भज गोविन्दं भज गोविन्दं मूढमते । संप्राप्ते संनिहिते काले नहि नहि रक्षति डुकृञ्करणे ॥ दिनमपि रजनी सायं प्रातः शिशिरवसन्तौ पुनरायातः । कालः क्रीडति गच्छत्यायुस्तदपि न मुञ्चत्याशापाशः ॥
भज गोविन्दंEnd:
द्वादशमञ्जरिकाञ्च (मि)रेष विशेषोऽशेषाणां कथितोऽत्युपदेशः । एषां ते न करोति विवेकस्तते पच्यन्ते नरकमनेकः ॥
