The portion of the work contained in this MS. deals with the manner of conducting the worship in relation to several Mantras, and especially with the manner of lighting the lamp to be used in connection with the repetition of the Durgi-Mantra Beginning:
ऊर्ध्वपुण्ड्रेक्षुकोदण्डपुष्पसायकसंयुताम् । ध्यात्वा सम्भोगदुर्गा तां प्रवक्ष्ये मन्त्रपद्धतिम् ॥ पार्वत्युवाच -दीपदुविधानम् ।
देवदेव जगन्नाथ करुणाकर शङ्कर । दीपदुर्गाविधानाख्यमत्याश्चर्यकर तथा ॥
अत्याचर्यकरं लोके मन्त्रमेतत्सुपावनम् । अतीतानागतं चैव अशरीरेण उ(तू)च्यो ।। तन्मन्त्रं च विधानं च पूजां चावेशलक्षणम् । वक्ष्येऽहं तव हे देवि खलपातकिनां तथा ।। न वक्तव्यं न वक्तव्यं न वक्तव्यं कदाचन ।
