On the Mantra which is considered to be efficacious in removing from children the effects of evil Grahas or spirits. Gives also the männer of propitiating the Graha or spirit which is supposed to annoy children during the first 11 days, months or years after birth. Three pages before the beginning of this work contain details relating to the Yantra connected with this Mantra. Beginning:
वरप्रसाद गोकर्णे लब्ध्वा रावणसूरिणः ।
कृतः कुमारतन्त्रोऽयं तत्प्रवक्ष्ये समासतः ॥ प्रथमदिवसे मासे वर्षे वा सुनन्दना नाम मातिरि (?) बालान् गृह्णाति । तया गृहीतः प्रथमं ज्वरस्स्यात् । गात्रभेदप्रकोपं वा. अशनं च न गृह्णाति स्तनद्वेषं करोति । बलिं तस्य प्रवक्ष्यामि यन मुञ्चते
मातरिः।
End: ___ओं नमो नारायणाय प्रज्वलितहस्ताय हन हन रोदय रोदय मव मव मर्दय मर्दय पातय पातय में पें हन हन दुष्टसर्वान् नाशय मातरि हुं फट् स्वाहा-इति बालमन्त्रः । धूपादि पूर्ववत् ।। Colophon:
