Describes the method of repeating the twelve-syllabled Dattatröyamantra accompauied by the required ceremonial touching of the several parts of the body, Beginning :
अथ द्वादशाक्षरमन्त्रन्यासः ----- तत्रादौ मूलेन प्राणायामत्रयं कृत्वा ।
अस्य श्रीदत्तात्रे पद्वादशाक्षरमन्त्रराजमहामन्त्रस्य श्रीसदाशिव मषिः, . जग़ती छन्दः, दतात्रेयः परमात्मा देवता ; द्रां बीजं, वाहा शक्तिः, कों कीलकं, श्रीदत्तात्रेयप्रसादसि द्वयर्थ विनियोगः -इति पुष्यादीन् शिरोवदनहृदय दक्षवामस्तनहृत्करसंपुटेषु न्यसेत् । End: _____ एवमन्तागं कृत्वा नतश्चक्षुरुन्मीला मातृकावर्णमालया रुद्राक्षमाल. या वा नित्यं कुर्यात् ।। Colophon:

द्वादशाक्षरमन्त्रस्तु ततस्यात् षोडशाक्षरः । षडक्षरमतः पश्चात्तयोरे(त ए)काक्षरो मनुः ॥
