________________ Shri Mahavir Jain Aradhana Kendra www.kobatirth.org Acharya Shri Kailassagarsuri Gyanmandir 5640 A DESCRIPTIVE CATALOGUE OF It is stated that if a person repeats the names (herein enumerated) of the 64 different manifestations of Bhairavīs and of the 64 of Bhairavas, he need not fear any harm from enemies, cruel animals, evil spirits, etc. The Bhairava or the Bhairaví is to be conceived as' assuming bodies of different colours according to the object for which the repeater of the Mantra invokes the help of the deity Beginning: श्वेतध्यानं भवेच्छान्तिः पीतं शुभकरी(रं)स्मृतम् । वश्यकार्येषु रक्तामं क्षोभणार्थे तथाप्रभम् ।। त्रिपदं रक्तवर्णाम्बे नीलं विद्वेषकारणम् । कृष्णञ्च मारणं प्रोक्तं धूम्रमुच्चाटनं तथा ।। दिव्ययोगी महायोगी सिद्धयोगी गणेश्वरी । प्रेताशी डाकिनी काली कालरात्री निशाचरी ॥ End: अष्टाष्टगुणितश्चैव भैरवाणां प्रमाणतः । स्वर्गपातालमत्र्येषु विचरन्ति महाबलाः ।। * नित्यमेतैर्महामन्त्रैः भैरवान्नो(पू)जयेत् क्रमात् । त्रिः कुर्वन्ति सदा पूजामिच्छन्ति श्रियमद्भुताम्॥ Colophon: इति चतुःषष्टिभैरवाः ॥ No. 7831. चामुण्डीमन्त्रः.
