The repetition of this Mantra which is also addressed to Vanadurgã is intended to enable one to accomplish one's desires. The Mantra is coupled with a prayer in the end addressed to the goddess to remove all fears. Beginning:
अस्य श्रीवनदुर्गामन्त्रस्य आरण्यक ऋषिः, अत्यनुष्टुप् छन्दः, श्रीवनदुर्गा देवता; दुं बीजं, स्वाहा शक्तिः, हुं कीलकं, ममेष्टकाम्यार्थसिद्ध्यर्थे विनियोगः । End:
मन्त्रः
ओं दुं उत्तिष्ठ(पुरुषि)किं स्वपिषि भयं मे समुपस्थितं यदि शक्यमशक्यं वा तन्मे भगवति शमय स्वाहा ।।
