The repetition of this Mantra, which is addressed to the goddess Pratyangirā, is to be followed by a ceremonial fire offering and is considered to have the power to enable one to destroy evil spirits. Beginning:
ओं यां कल्पयन्ति नोऽरयः क्रूरां कृत्यां वधूमिव । तां ब्रमणापनिर्णद्मः प्रत्यकर्तारमृच्छतों स्वाहा । End:
ओं मिल्लि मिल्लि ब्रह्म ब्रह्म ब्रह्म ब्रह्म य शुम्भिनि खे चर घर गुरु गुरु राज राज हंस हंस स्वाहा ॥

This Mantra is addressed to Syāmalā or the goddess Matangi conceived as possessing a smiling countenance; and its repetition is considered to have the power to remove fears, dangers and obstacles. Beginning:
अस्य श्रीहसन्तीमन्त्रस्य मतङ्ग ऋषिः, पक्तिश्छन्दः, हसन्त्यम्बा देवता, ऐं बीजं, ह्रीं शक्तिः, श्रीं कीलकं, हीमित्यादिन्यासः । End:
ओं ह्रीं हसन्ती(न्ति) हसन्ता(सिता)लापमातङ्गि परिचारिके भयविनापदां नाशं कुरु कुरु ठ ठ ठ हुं फट् स्वाहा ॥
