This Mantra is addressed to Hanumat; and its repetition is considered to have the power to enable one to see things afar orf, to bear sounds which are otherwise inaudible on account of distance, and to obtain knowledge of otherwise unknowable past, present and future events. Beginning:
अस्य श्रीस्वमाख्यहनुमन्महामन्त्रस्य ब्रह्मा ऋषिः, गायत्री छन्दः, श्रीहनुमान् देवता ; ओं बीजं, स्वाहा शक्तिः, दूरदृष्टिरिति कीलकं, मम स्वप्नाख्यहनुमत्प्रसादसिद्धयर्थे जपे विनियोगः । End:
ओं दूरदृष्टिदूरश्रवणसमागतानागतवर्तमानसबलोकवृत्तान्तविज्ञान हनु. मन्महीप(य) देहि देहि स्वाहा ॥
