A DESCRIPTIVE CATALOGUE OF
On the ceremonial touching of certain parts of the body while repeating the Mantra-formulas obtained by introducing the successive letters of the alphabet after ऐं, ह्रीं श्रीं क्लीं. The presiding deity of this Mantra is conceived to be the Mother of the Universe.
Beginning :
अस्य श्रीस्मरादिमातृकामन्त्रस्य संमोहन ऋषिः, गायत्री छन्दः, जगन्माता देवता, षड्दीर्घस्वरयुक्तेन स्मरेणाङ्गानि ।
End:
ऐं ह्रीं श्रीं क्लीं क्षं काममदनझषोन्मत्ताभ्यां नमः ।
तैर्मातृकास्थानेषु र (व) र्णम् इक्षुचापपुष्पबाणधराः पद्मताम्बूलधारिणीभिश्शक्तिभिराश्लिष्टा ध्येयाः - इति कामरतिन्यासः ।

This Mantra is addressed to Svapnavārāhi who, as implied in her name, reveals, in dreams, past as well as future events. Beginning :
अस्य श्रीस्वप्रवाराही महामन्त्रस्य सञ्जय ऋषिः, गायत्री छन्दः, वार्ताली देवता ; ओं बीजं, ऐं शक्तिः, ग्लौं कीलकं, ममातीतानागतं चैव वदति स्वमरूपिणी ओं ऐं ग्लौं वद वद वाराही विश्वमयी हूं फट् स्वाहा ।
End:
नमो ज्योतिर्मयी देवी ज्ञानविज्ञानरूपिणी । अतीतानागतं चैव वरदे (द मे) स्वरूपिणी ॥ शुद्धोदकेन तर्पणं त्रिमधुयुक्तेन हवनम् ॥
