'This Mantra is addressed to the goddess Sarasvati; and ita repetition is considered to have the power to enable one to become a learned person and a poet.
Beginning:
अस्य श्रीसरस्वतीदेवीमहामन्त्रस्य ब्रह्मा ऋषिः, गायत्री छन्दः, श्रीसरस्वती देवी देवता; सं बीजं, स्वाहा शक्तिः, श्रीसरस्वतीदेवीप्रसादसिद्धयर्थे सारस्वतार्थे सर्वबोधनार्थे च विनियोगः । End: नवनलिननिरूढा वल्लभा पद्मजस्य द्युतिविहसितचन्द्रोद्दामकान्तिः प्रसन्ना । विहरतु मम चित्ते सर्वबोधप्रदात्री वितरतु च कवित्वं सर्वलोकप्रसिद्धम् ॥
मन्त्रः -- ओं सं सरस्वति स्वाहा ॥
