The repetition of this Mantra, which is addressed to Matangi, is considered to have the power to enable one to become well-versed in the art of music. Beginning: ____अस्य श्रीसङ्गीतमातङ्गीमहामन्त्रस्य नारदभगवान् ऋषिः, त्रिष्टुप् छन्दः, श्रीसङ्गीतमातङ्गी देवता ; ओं बीजं, स्वाहा शक्तिः, ओं कीलकं, मम सकलसङ्गीतविशारद(त्वार्थे श्रीसङ्गीतमातङ्गीप्रसादसिद्धयर्थे जपे विनियोगः । End :
ओं नमो भगवति विं वीणायै मम सङ्गीतविद्यां प्रबोधय प्रबोधय स्वाहा । श्रीसङ्गीतमातङ्गीश्री ॥
