On the ceremonial touching of certain parts of the body, while repeating the series of Mantra-formulas formed by introducing before and after each of the suce siv letters of the alphabet. "Beginning:
अथ शक्तिमातृकान्यासः -
अस्य श्रीशक्तिमातृकान्यासस्य वसिष्ठ ऋषिः, सूतश्छन्दः, शक्तिर्देवता, हं बीजं, ई शक्तिः, ब्रह्मा बीजं, माया शक्तिः, शिवो बीजं, बुद्धिशक्तिः, उदानो बीजं, सुषुम्ना शक्तिः, रेफः कीलकं, श्रीशक्तिमातृकान्यासे विनियोगः ।

This Mantra is addressed to a certain Yakṣini, who is conceived as wearing a garland of conch shells. It seems that a fireoffering followed by the repetition of this Mantra is understood to have the power to enable a man to become wealthy.
