On details connected with the ceremonial touching of certain parts of the body, while repeating at the same time the appropriate Saktimantras; this kind of Nyāsa is held to be a necessary preliminary to the repetition of the Srividyamantra. Beginning:
__ अथ शक्तिन्यासः-तत्र प्रथमं जगच्छून्याकारं निरालम्बं ध्यात्वा, हु पृथिव्यै नम इति स्वासनाधः पृथिवीं संपूज्य, स्वासनं वामहस्तेन स्पृशन् भुवनेश्वरबिीजं सप्तवारं जपित्वा, ऐं ह्रीं श्रीं जयायै विजयायै ४ जैव्यै ४ अजितायै ४ अपराजितायै सङ्गमायै रम्भायै इति स्वासने सप्तशक्तिं संपूज्य, मूलविद्यया प्राणायामत्रयं कृत्वा, अस्य श्री. महाशक्तिन्यासस्य परमशिव ऋषिः, अतिजगती छन्दः, श्रीपराशक्तिदेवता, ऐं बीजं, श्री शक्तिः, सौः कीलकं, श्रीविद्याङ्गत्वेन महाशक्ति. न्यासे विनियोगः ।
