'This Mantra is addressed to Vişņa. Preliminary to the repetition of this Mantra, the touching of the various parts of one's body, repeating the several nain's rf Vişnı, is enjoined. Beginning:
अव्यग्रचित्तः कुर्वीत न्यासकर्म यथाविधि । करन्यासं पुरा कृत्वा ततोऽङ्गन्यासमाचरेत् ।। अङ्गुष्ठाने तु गोविन्दं तर्जन्यां तु महीधरम् ।
मध्यमायां हृषीकेशमनामिक्यां त्रिविक्रमम् ।। End:
मनुः--- ओं नमो विष्णवे केशवाय सर्वक्लेशापहरॆ नमः ।। अष्टोत्तरं वा सहस्रं वा जपं कुर्यात् । पञ्चोपचारान् कृत्वा एवं न्यासविधि कृत्वा साक्षान्नारायणो भवेत् ॥
