Relates to the purificatory ceremony to be performed when one cats food which is forbidden owing to various causes.
Beginning :
गृहस्थोक्तानि पापानि कुर्वन्त्याश्रमिणो यदि ।
शौचवच्छोधनं कुर्युरर्वाग्ब्रह्मनिदर्शनात् ॥ इति । वतिनो द्विगुणं, वनस्थस्य त्रिगुणं, यतीनां चतुर्गुणमित्यर्थः ।
रजस्वलादृष्टमन्नं भुक्त्वा वमनमिष्यते । चण्डालदृष्टमन्नश्च सूतिकादृष्टमेव च ॥ चण्डालं पतितं प्रेतं श्वशूद्रादिरजस्वलाम् ।
एतान्निरीक्ष्य भुञ्जन्वै वमित्वोपवसेत्त्यूहम् ॥ इति । End:
उभयो जने विप्रः पुनस्संस्कारमर्हति ॥ इति । व्यास:
संवत्सरस्यैकमपि चरेत्कृच्छू द्विजोत्तमः ।
