अथातो दर्शपूर्णमासौ व्याख्यास्यामः----
प्रातरग्निहोत्रं हुत्वा, दर्भेष्वासीनो दर्भान् धारयमाणः पत्न्या सह प्राणानायम्य, सङ्कल्पं करोति ; दर्शन यक्ष्ये ; पूर्णमासेन यक्ष्ये ; तेन श्रीमन्नारायणं प्रीणयानि । विद्युदसि विद्य मे . सत्यमुपैमि । End :
अग्नय इदम् ; भुवस्स्वाहा-वायव इदम ; सुवस्स्वाहा-सूर्यायेदम् ; ओं भूर्भुवस्सुवस्स्वाहा-प्रजापतय इदम् ; श्रीविष्णवे स्वाहा-श्रीविष्णवे परमात्मन इदम् ॥
