This is a grammatical treatise based on the aphorisms of Pāņini, arranged in accordance with the logic of grammar. The author is Dharmakirti. Beginning:
येनाक्षरसमाम्नायमधिगम्य महेश्वरात् ।। कृत्लं व्याकरणं प्रोक्तं तस्मै पाणिनये नमः ।। सर्वजमनन्तगुणं प्रणम्य बालप्रबोधनार्थमहम् । रूपावतारमल्पं सुकलापमृजें करिष्यामि ॥
तत्रादौ तावत्प्रत्याहारः शास्त्रे संव्यवहारज्ञापनार्थमनुवर्ण्यते । तद्यथा
