तथा त्रिसहस्रयुक्तम् अष्टौ शतानि षड्विंशतिः पदसङ्ख्या प्रकीर्तिता । ऋग्वे दपारायणपाठे शाकल्ये शैशिरीयके नमश्शौनकाय नमः परमऋषिभ्यः ||
सूक्तमध्ये योऽवसाने भ्रष्टवीर्यस्स पापकृत् । गतासुर्मुनिहन्ता च रौरवं नरकं व्रजेत् ॥ अविदित्वा ऋषिच्छन्दोदैवतं योगमेव च । योऽध्यापयेज्जपेद्यस्तु पापीयान् जायते सुतः ॥ एकैकस्य ऋषेर्ज्ञानात् सहस्रायुर्भवेद्दिजः । छन्दसामपि सालोक्यं छन्दोज्ञानादवाप्र (मु) यात् ॥
