Colophon - इति श्री महामहोपाध्यायाग्निचिद् वाजपे य नरसिंहमिश्र घिरचित चयन प्रदीप: समाप्तः। The' manuscript of this work written in Oriya characters which was found at Sasana Damodarapur near Puri contains 1000 slokas. Thus the names of the following ten ont of 18 pradipas are known from different sources e.g. समय प्रदीप, नित्याचार प्रदीप, वर्ष प्रदीप, भक्ति प्रदीप, प्रायश्चित्त प्रदीप, श्राद्धप्रदीप, शाङ्करभाष्य प्रदीप, प्रतिष्ठा प्रदीप, चयनप्रदीप and व्यवस्था प्रदीप / The names of the remaining eight still remain to be traced. From the Descriptive catalogue of Sanskrit Manuscripts' published by the Asiatic Society of Bengal (58) it is known that Narasimha wrote a Karika on the श्राद्धपद्धति by Sambhukara Vajapeyi. From the unpublished volumes of notices of palmleaf manuscripts surveyed in Orissa the names of these small works by Narasiaa ba are also obtained e.g. "गणेशमानसिक पूजा" 'सामवेदीय वनपद्धांत: 'शिवरात्रि व्रतविधि' : But of all his works, Nitvachara Pradipa was the best which gained wide circulation in Orissa being accepted as an authority by the later Smrti writers and gradually pushed Vidyakara Paddhati to the background, . Vasudeva Ratha Somayaji an eminent Sanskrit poet of Orissa of the 18th century speaks about Narasimha and his Nityachira Pradipa in glowing terms while writing about one of the descendants of his family named Ramachandra Migra e. g., नस्यासीत् मल्लविद्यागुमरखिलकलाकोविदः कोविदेन्द्रः मिश्र : श्रीरामचन्द्रो द्विज़कुल नरणिः कौत्सवंशावतंसः / नित्याचार प्रदीपं मुनिरिव विदधे धर्मशास्त्रप्रणेता तूर्यो यत् पूर्वध शेष्वपि निगमगुरु जपेयी नृसिंहः / / - (58) Sarti Manuscripts Vol. III No. 2304. p. 401 (19) गङ्गवंशान चरितम -नवमपरिच्छदस्य दिवतीयश्लोकः / For Private and Personal Use Only
