(xxiii) histery and works have been described before. He was th: son of Murari Migra, son of Dharadhara Misra and received his education from Vighnesvara Migra, the elder brother of Murari. He was popularly known as Simha Vaijapeyi. From a small Sanskrit work called 'सिंहवाज़पेयि वंशावली which was published in an Oriya monthly 'the Sahakara' by my friend and colleague Sri Satyanarayana Rajaguru the following account of Narasimha is obtained in seven verses which are quoted below. तनुजोरस्य बभूव भूपवन्द्योनरसिंहाभिध वाजपेय याजी। उदितोष्णमरीचितुल्यतेजा निखिलोलीतलविश्रुत प्रतिष्ठः // 25 // मुनिजनसमुपास्यां कुन्दवृन्दावदानां शतदलदलसंस्थां वाञ्छितार्थप्रदां यः / शशिशकलधरामाराध्य सिद्धेश्वरी तां करवदरसमान शास्त्रषट क ददर्श | 26 // विजित्य वादेन सभान्तराले त गौडदेशागत तार्किकेन्द्रम् / मुकुन्दभूमि नृपतेर्जगाम नानाविधानुग्रह पानतां यः / 27 / दृष्ट वा स्फुटं यो निजवंशजानां दारिद्र यमु/तल वृत्रशत्रोः दानं गृहीत्वा द्विजशासनानि विधाय तेषां मुदमाततान 28 // येन प्रणीत समयप्रदीपप्रासाद्य सर्वागमपारगेन / तमस्तिरस्कृत्य सुधर्ममार्ग सुखेन जानन्ति जनाः समस्ताः // 29 // मीमांसकानां धुरि कीर्तनीयो वेदान्तवेदी सुकवि: स्मृतिशः। विद्यासु योऽष्टादशसु प्रदीपं निर्माय योगेन जगाम सिद्धिम् / 30 दिल्लीश्वरं यः परितोष्य वाग भिः विद्याभिरष्टादशभः प्रवीणः / मुकुन्ददेवस्य प्रशस्तवाच: .
