Arranged by title A-Z. Location of each mss. has been indicated. No index. Introduction throws light of genesis of Jain Bhandaras in India in general and in the Panjab in particular.
"It was in 1917 ... the late Dr. A.C. Woolner having come to know of their existence, turned his attention in this direction. ... So far five bhandaras have been cxamined, viz. those at Ambala city, Amritsar, Nakodar, Patti and Zira. The total number of mss. examined is 3169. Their notices numbering 876, 615, 479, 366 and 711 respectively, are preserved in the Punjab University Library; from those notices were prepared the catalogue, the introduction and the appendices.” Introduction p. vii.
