Description in tabular form about 1000 mss. of Avesta, Pahelvi, Pazend, Persian, Gujarati, 29 Sanskrit 16 Arabic, 17 Hindustani and 3 Hindi which were available in 63 private libraries of Parsis in different centres of Gujarat. Out of these, 32 private collections were located in Surat only. The Gujarati mss. mostly deal with Zoroastrian and Iranian topics. Appendix: History of Parsi settlement in Gujarat. 13 indexes.
