He further says that one who does not find God within himself will never find Him outside himself. God is realized only when one becomes free from the sense of egoism. So long one's ego is not annihilated one cannot realise Him.? The superb joy that one experiences in the union with God is inexhaustible. Ramakršņa says that God is like a hill of sugar; and the devotees are like ants who become ecstatic even with a little of a single Divine attribute. The inexhaustible joy of God can never come to an end. After the attainment of God. realization one sees Him everywhere and in everything. The Divine bliss which is enjoyed by an emancipated soul is like millions of the highest worldly pleasures solidified into one. The emancipated soul is fully drunk with the Divine joy and experiences illumination everywhere when it attains the knowledge of God; it is like the midday sun, in which one looks around but finds no shadow of oneself. Similarly in the state of Samādhi one retains no shadow of egoism.
