Preface
Two years back the first volume of the catalogue of Sanskrit and Prakrit manuscripts donated by the late Shri Motichand Khajanchi has appeared as no. 149 of the present series. This one is numbered 170 and notices some sixteen hundred manuscripts. The oldest manuscript named "Prthvicandra caritra" by Manikyacandra Suri though incomplete is dated V.S. 1478. We may increase the number of such old copies by naming few more manuscripts namely the "saḍāvasyaka Sutra (V.S. 1620), Acc No. 268/5054, "Kalyana-mandira Stotra" with commentary by Harṣakırti Suri (V.
