मर्थानामुदिते पात्रे श्रद्धया प्रतिपादनं

यः करोति तरोमूले सेकं मासचतुष्टयं । सोपि तत्फलमामोति श्रुतिरेषा सनातनी ॥
मासचतुष्टये चैत्रादिके हत्यलं प्रथविस्तरीभूते ॥ .. इति श्रीपदवाक्यप्रमाणशश्रीभट्टोजीदीक्षितसूरे सूनुना भाजुजीदिक्षितेन विरचिता दानविवेकः समाप्तः ॥ शुभम् ॥ संवत् १८६६ प्रथम भाषाढमाशे शुक्लपक्षे पंचम्यां रविवासरे जलंधरपुरै भवानीरामण विप्रेण लिखितम् ॥

The work, also called Dānacandrikā, deals with dāna, The author was the son of Mahādeva and Gangā, grandson of Rāmęśvara and surnamed Kāla. He mentions Dānodyota, Dānanayukha and Kratārka. According to Kane he is later than 1660 A. D. Our author is different from Divākara, grandson of Bālambhatta, who. composed Dharmaśāstrasudhā, nidhi and Dānahiravaliprakása.
