Dänaratnākara is one of the seven sections of the extensive digest on Hindu Law, viz. Smrtiratnākara or Ratnakara by Candeśvara. The other six sections deal with krtya vyavakara, suddhi, pūja, vivāda and grhastha. Dānaratnakara is divided into 29 għapters (fararigas) and deals with gifts.
