A 1881-82 Size-10 in. by 4g in. Extent - 335 leaves; 14 lines to a page; 40 letters to a line. Description - Country paper; Devanāgari characters; handwriting
legible; two lines in black ink on each border; benedictory phrases in all the 3 chapters, pratikas of verses and names of authorities upto fol. 32 of the 1st chapter are tinged with red pigment; paper old, musty and affected by dampness on account of which many of the leaves stuck together. The Ms. is divided into 3 sections of 3 chapters, each chapter having a separate pagination. Acārādhyāya has 69 foll.; Vyavahārā.
dhyāya has 117 foll, and Prāyaścittādhyāya has 149 foll. Age-Samvat 1822. Author - (Text) Yājñavalkya.

श्रुत्वैव याज्ञवल्क्योपि प्रीतात्मा मुनिभाषितं ।
एवमस्त्विति होवाच नमस्कृत्य स्वयंभुवे ॥ Comm. - पूतवृष्टिभिर्भाषितं श्रुत्वा योगींद्रोपि स्वनिर्मितधर्मशास्त्रधारणादि
फलप्रार्थनोन्मीलितमुखपंकजः स्वयंभुवे ब्रह्मणे नमस्कृत्य प्रणम्य
भवत्प्रार्थितं सकलमिस्थं भवत्वित्येवं किल भगवान बभाषे॥ इति श्रीभारद्वाजपद्मनाथभट्टोपाध्यायात्मजस्य श्रीमत्परमहंसपरिव्राजकविज्ञानेश्वरभट्टस्य कृतौ ऋजुमिताक्षरायां याज्ञवल्क्यधर्मशाने विवृतौ प्रायश्चित्त तृतीयाध्यायसमाप्तः॥ संवत् १८२२ ज्येष्टवदी चतुर्थी गुरुवासरे समासः ।। Then follow the contents.
