Description - Country paper; Devanāgari characters; handwriting
good; paper very old, worn out on edges and musty; benedictory phrase, names of authorities quoted and the colophons are tinged with red pigment. The Ms. deals with the commentary of Aparārka on the 1st chapter, Ācārādhyāya of Yājñavalkyasmrti. There are two sets of paginations : the first, set foll. 1-174, extends upto the 8th section, Danaprakaraņa; foll. 72 and 73 are missing; the second set, folt. 1-77, deals with the remaining 4 prakaranas; here, fol. 64 is repeated. For full information about the author, see Kane noted below. The date of composition of the commentary is the first half of the 12th century A. D.

ॐ स्वस्ति श्रीगणेशाय नमः ॐ संसिद्धर्थमिलत्सुरासुरनमन्मौलिस्थितप्रोल्लसत् सद्रत्नप्रभवप्रकृष्टविविधप्रेसन्मयूखोज्ज्वलम् । श्रेयो विघ्नमहामयप्रशमने दिव्यं यदेकौषधं भूयाद्वो द्विरदानतांत्रिकमलद्वंद्वं तदिष्टाप्तये । विश्वानुभूतिभूतिस्थितिसंहृतिमुक्तयः । प्रभवति यतस्तस्मै परस्म ब्रह्मणे नमः etc.
