भगवन् सर्ववर्णानां यथावदनुपूर्वशः ।
अंतरप्रभवानां च धर्मनो वक्तुमर्हसि ॥ २ ॥ etc.
इत्येतन्मानवं भृगुप्रोक्तं पठन्द्विजः । भवत्याचारवन्नित्यं यथेष्टां प्राप्नुयात् गति ॥

इति श्रीभट्टमेधातिथिविरचिते मनुभाष्ये प्रथमोऽध्यायः ॥ श्रीमंभव
इति शास्त्रसमाप्तिमाह । पठन् भवत्याचारवान् अम्यो अध्याहार्थ आचार यथापठितशास्त्रांतरस्त्वनुष्टानं । एवंविधश्चेद्भवति यथेष्टां देवतादिलक्षण इंगिति जन्मां ब्राह्माभावमापद्यते ॥ मैत्राद्यवभासेन रागद्वेषक्षयमनुवदति । अनेन च द्विजातीयद्रव्य यातविना ends abruptly.
