Extent - 216 leaves; 14 lines to a page; 50 letters to a line. Description - Country paper; Devanāgari characters; handwriting
good, but small; four lines in black ink on either border; topics and colophons are tinged with red pigment irregularly; corrections made with yellow pigment; notes written in very small characters on the margins; paper very old, worn out, musty and soiled; incomplete; ink-spots fallen on fol. 5a; foll. 50 (twice ), 75-77, 117 and 205 repeated; fol. 123 missing; one leaf written on one side between foll. 59-60.
The codex contains the first chapter-Samayoddyota of
Madanaratnapradipa. Age - Appears to be old. Author - Visvanātha, by order of Madanasimha. Begins - fol. 16
