legible; two lines in red ink on either border; topics are tinged with red pigment; paper old, worn out and musty; foll. 158-59 missing. A digest of religious and civil duties in 5 kāndas.
The Ms. is incomplete, breaking off abruptly in the middle of mahālaya - śrāddha and is thus identical with (a ) section of the Ms. described in I. O. Cat. referred to below. श्रीगणेशाय नमः । दक्षिणामूर्तये नमः ॥ त्वं पाकयजनेनैव हिरण्यकशिपुप्रदः लक्ष्मीनृसिंह किं दाता तदन्यरजनैरसि ॥१॥ श्रवणकर्णविलोचनसाधन प्रभुफणामणिकांति कनत्पदः ।
नरहरे विहरन् घनपर्जनै: प्रमुदितोसि सर्पबलि प्रिया ॥२॥ अथाचार्योक्तक्रमेण स पायज्ञविधिरभिधीयते ॥ तथा तदीयवचनं ।
अतः परं द्विजातीनां संवूतिनियतोच्यते ।
संस्काररहिता ये तु तेषां जन्म निरर्थकं ॥ etc. Bids - fol. 1630
मध्यायुक्तात तत्रापि शस्ता राजन् त्रयोदशीति। अतिप्रशस्तमित्यर्थः । अत्र योगविशेषमाह । शापायनः । नभस्थस्यापरे पक्षे.तिथिषोडशकं तु यत् ।
