श्रीगणेशाय नमः॥ अथ नीलोत्सर्ग लिख्यते ॥ प्रथमं नित्यस्नानं । ततो मातृकापूजामाभ्योदयिकादं कृत्वा भवेत्यादिप्रयोगः ॥ अप्सव्यं ॥ ममुकगोत्राणां पितपित्ता
महप्रतितामहान ... वरुणाचार्चनमहं करिष्ये । etc. Ends - fol. 24a
अद्य पूर्वोचरित. तिथौ गोत्रस्य भस्मपितः भमुकामुकशर्मणः तथा च गोत्राणां पि. नास. नां तथा च अन्येषां पूर्वजामा उद्धरणार्थ निलपोत्सर्ग. कर्मणो विधेर्यन्यून स्तु।

good; two rows, each of one line and three lines in red ink on either border; paper old and musty.
A treatise for performing the ceremony of letting toda bull in connection with the funeral rites of a parent, etc. Our work very much resembles the text of I.O.Cat. No. 1775. which however is a small work. The largeness in the present Ms. is due to 108 verses of tarpana and pindadāna from Madhya (Matsya) purāna. Weber's Cat. (see below) registers 3 Mss., of which No. 1229 is similar to our Ms.
