Age-Is old in appearance. The date given for this Ms. in .. Dr. Bhandarkar's Catalogue for 1884-87 belongs to the next
number, 472. Author - Anonymous. The next number in the Catalogue however
assigns this work to Patanjali, possibly because the चादिगण and others were presupposed in the time of that great
commentator. Subject - The different meanings of the indeclinables explained.
Begins- श्रीगणेशगुरुगीर्यो नमः । चादिर्निपातः । च आदिर्यस्य स
चादिः ॥ आदिशब्दोव्यवस्थार्थः प्रकारार्थ इत्यन्ये । तेनानुक्तानामपि संग्रहः।
Ends - सपदाति क्षिप्रार्थे । उर्या( ऊर्या )दयोप्यंगीकारविस्तारे च ॥
अर्थकथनं चैषामुपलक्षणं वेदितव्यं । तथाचोक्तं
निपाताश्चोपसर्गाश्च धातवश्चेति ते त्रयः।
अनेकार्थाः स्मृताः सर्वे पाठास्तेषां निदर्शनमिति ॥ इत्यव्ययार्थः समाप्तः ॥
