Many printed editions of the text are available. Dr. R. Otto Franke has edited the लिङ्गानुशासनs of हेमचन्द्र, शाकटायन, हर्षवर्धन and वररुचि with an elaborate introduction ( 1890 ); while latterly, वामनं 8 लिङ्गानुशासन with the Author's own वृत्ति is edited in the Gaekwad's Oriental Series, No. 6 (1918). The last was also published by Peterson in his Report for 1884-86, pp. 110 ff.
