Vyāsasiddhānta No. 1127
1895-98 Size — 114 in. by 5f in. Extent -- 7 leaves ; 14-15 lines to a page ; 40-42 letters to a line. Description - Thick country paper; Devanagari characters; not old in
appearance; bandwriting small but clear, legible and uniform; red pigment used for marking the colophons; the Ms. contains only 3 Adhyāyas though the last colophon reads as गोलाध्यायश्चतुर्थः etc.
The Ms, has been copied by one Bibāriāla Age - Samvat 1913 Author - Vyāsa Subject — " A treatise on Hindu astronomy. The work proposes to
be a part of Dharmaśāstra or Smsti of the author. Contents: Ch. I. spheres and regions of the universe. II. The seven great continents ending in the north in Meru; influence of tho planets on the sun; the duration of days and nights in the planets. III. Directions for constructing wooden globes." (R.
