Size.— 107 in. by 5f in.
Extent.- 64 leaves ; 12 lines to a page ; 43 letters to a line. Description.- Country paper; Devanagari characters; hard-writing good ; foll. 3-4 have three lines in red ink on each border; the remaining foll. have single line in black ink on both the borders; the text is quoted within inverted commas; topic-headings and colophons are tinged with red pigment. Paper is very old, musty, worn out and wormeaten ; leaves are in a decaying state. It is a fragment of Hemadri's commentary Ayurvedarasayana on Vagbhaga's Astangahrdaya. Foll. 1, 48-49 and 67-70 are missing. Hence the actual number of foll. 71-7= 64. It has neither beginning nor end. The names or the author and the work are given in various colophons, one of which is given here. fol. 152 - इति हेमाद्रिदीकायाम्मायुर्वेदर साबने । अध्याय आयुष्कामीयः सामयेन निरूपितः ॥ १ ॥
